TEAM APPS AND DASHBOARDS
Give your team a better place to work.
Custom apps and dashboards bring your team’s conversations, tasks, and information together. I design and build dedicated software around how your people work, on desktop and mobile.
Built around the way your team works
When updates live in one chat, tasks in a spreadsheet, and customer details somewhere else, a simple handoff can take too much effort. We start with the people using the system: what they need to see, what they need to do, and who takes the next step. The app gives that work a clear, shared home.
Team communication with the work attached
Keep a conversation connected to the project, customer, or task it belongs to. A team app can bring discussions, shared updates, and responsibilities into the same place so people can find the context without searching through unrelated messages.
- Project discussions, comments, and team announcements.
- Shared task lists with owners, due dates, and status updates.
- Files and notes attached to the relevant work.
- Notifications for assignments, mentions, or changes that need attention.
Dashboards that help people take action
A useful dashboard answers practical questions: What needs attention? What is waiting for approval? Who is handling it? We choose the information and controls around the decisions your team makes, with views suited to different roles.
- An operations dashboard for incoming requests and ongoing jobs.
- A manager’s view of workload, progress, and outstanding approvals.
- Reports and filters based on the information your business actually records.
- A staff workspace for assigned tasks, customer updates, and next steps.
Admin tools for the people running the business
An admin page can give authorized staff a clear way to manage records, users, requests, and content. We define who may view, create, edit, or approve each type of information. Search, forms, status changes, and activity history can be included where they make the work easier to follow. Access rules and important workflows are checked before handover.
Desktop and mobile, shaped around the job
Office staff may need a detailed desktop workspace; someone on site may need a quick mobile update, photo upload, or checklist. We design each view for its screen and task. Depending on your needs, the project can be a responsive browser app, an installable web app, or a dedicated desktop or mobile app. Device features, offline use, notifications, distribution, and any app-store requirements are agreed as part of the scope.
Connect the app to your existing tools
Team apps and automation work well together. The app is the place where people see information and take action; automation can handle supporting steps such as routing a request, creating a task, or sending a notification. We review the tools you already use and their available connections before choosing integrations. Important decisions can still stay with your team.
Start with one useful release
Bring a real example of the work you want to improve, the people involved, and the tools they use today. We agree on a focused first release, design the key screens, build the workflows, and check the experience with representative tasks. Scope, pricing, hosting, ongoing support, and third-party costs are discussed before work begins. Allow at least 7 business days before first drafts and 14 or more business days from confirmed down payment for finished products. Larger app projects may take longer; delays can occur.
Questions before we start
Can you create an app just for our team?
Yes. An internal app can be designed for your staff and the way they work, with sign-in and access permissions appropriate to each role. It does not need to be a public website or a public app-store listing.
Can the same system work on phones and computers?
Yes. We can plan a shared system with layouts for desktop and mobile. Whether it needs a browser experience, an installable app, or separate device-specific features depends on how your team will use it.
Can we start with a dashboard and add features later?
Yes. A focused dashboard or admin workflow can be the first release. We plan the data and access rules with future needs in mind, then scope additional features when your team is ready.
How is this different from business automation?
This service focuses on the app people use: its screens, shared information, communication, and controls. Automation focuses on connecting steps and reducing repeated work. A project can include both when that serves your team.
